We're Open: Hastings Store opens doors

Hey guys, really nice of you to stop by and see how things are coming on, we've got so much to tell you since we last caught up- suppose it's just a matter of where to begin! So without any hesitation we're pleased to tell you that it's official, Scooter & Jinx is open for business! Our doors are finally open and today officially begins week 3! The better news is that things just seem to be getting... well, better and better!

We've just about got our shit together and new stock is rolling in weekly, the shop is filling up and it won't be long before we're bursting out of the windows and doors with all the stuff you've been wanting and asking for, not to mention a few tasty surprises and bits we kept secret!

If you didn't catch it, one of the highlights has been having our friend Olive47, street artist and doodler extraordinaire come in and trick out these 4 walls. She spent a day in the shop just before opening, bringing the place to life rocking all her super kooky and ridiculously cute characters. No surprises, it that has been a massive hit with everyone who sees it!

All the local 'color' are slowly but surely sniffing around and stopping in to give us warm and friendly welcomes, so thanks to everyone who has already visited and double thanks to those of you who have been back again! For those of you who are interested in dropping by, check our contact details and opening hours

There's one person in particular we'd like you to meet. He took to us without hesitating and has never looked back. He's been in the shop every day and become a tiny toyhound- he can sniff out a 1/100 blind box figure like you never saw. Needless to say we've fast tracked him onto our 'Saturday shopkid' programme and you can see him in training here:

He knows his Munny from his Dunny and his Mad from his Kozik... this is how we roll, and so this is how he rolls too! Bertie is a keen collector, our best customer, our number one fan and an all round top little man. So what comes next? Funny you should ask, we've scratched our heads asking the very same question!

Lucky for all of us we actually managed to come up with an answer, and this is how it's looking...

Most importantly we're working to get the website/shop up and running, I know it isn't fair that not all of you can pop out for a loaf of bread and grab a few Dunnys while you're at it, it's a real shame. So for that reason, we're trying to make up for it by bringing the toys to you, it won't be long before you can buy all of our stock online. We'll make an announcement closer to the time but it shouldn't be more than a couple of weeks so get your plastic out of it's holster, webslinger!

Something else we're working on and looking forward to is a date on Lunartik's Tea Party tour, we're selling the Lunartik in A Cup of Tea figures (even have a few of the super rare Green Tea) and they are warming everyone up! That said we're hoping to secure a date, hopefully before Xmas you'll be able to come in and check out all the custom cups that have been created by artists like Pete Fowler, Jon Burgerman, Jeremyville, Tado and loads more. You never know, we might even be able to tempt Mr Jones himself to stop by, we'll put the kettle on and keep you posted!

Thanks for catching up, we hope you're as excited as we are about what comes next!

Be good, til next time. S&J xx
